Restoration Men's Weekend: Valuing His Presence

During the summer last year I, Roy, felt very strongly that men need to arise out of their comfy sofas and become the mighty men that they really are! I discussed this with Andy and Tim and the rest of the team; we decided that a weekend away was a good start.
In January twenty eight of us gathered at a Christian centre near Chepstow. During the weekend we worshipped and met with God. There was an eclectic mix of men who came from varied backgrounds. No, they didn’t know about the comfy sofa comment; they do now though.

I knew that the weekend was to be an organic process, so the only firm times were the meal times. There was a great time of prophetic prayer for all of the men. Some saw visions and angels during the worship. There were also pre-conceptions shattered after fellowshipping together.
Andrew Leakey shared on the theme, "Rise and rise again until lambs become lions" We took this on board and roared in prayer and praise. The weekend ended with new friendships and a great sense of unity.

Feedback afterwards:

'This is the best welcome I have had during thirty years of attending men’s events’

'Dear Restoration Blueprint Team, I am moved to express my extreme satisfaction at the Mens weekend, which for me at least was a significant milestone in my quest for the truth that will set me free and bring me closer to a consecrated walk with Father.
Thank you all for all the effort, love and commitment of time and resources that you have all put into the ministry.
May Father bless you all richly, love (brotherly)'

'Hi Guys
Just got to say it was probably one of the best weekends ever!
Thanks for all the work and prayer that went into it.'

'What was really different was the way everyone was like family.
You felt right at home from the start.
I’m sure this time has made many friendships that will last.
For me I did get something of what I was hoping for. (Pete then related words, visions, angelic encounters and dreams received at the weekend or subsequently)
Generally though its clear that Roy put in a lot of work to make this a success & he has been a great blessing.'

The next event is on Saturday 19th March and it will be in the Bristol/Bath area. If you would like to attend you can register your name at restorationblueprint@hotmail.com.
